Our Story

GetUp&GetActive LLC. was founded in 2018 by Dwight Weathers, a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, Exercise Therapy Specialist, Group Fitness Expert, and Life Coach, with a mission to improve health naturally. Motivated by life experiences, Dwight recognized the impact of lacking support for individual differences, which led him to create SPPAARK—a lifestyle approach built on seven core values: Smiles, Pride, Patience, Attitude, Accountability, Respect, and Knowledge. Having SPPAARK as a foundation in faith, Dwight met his wife, Andrea Weathers, a Certified Trainer and Life Coach. Together, they are expanding the SPPAARK method through their shared mission.
